About Us
FlexAbilities was created by participants of NDIS and parents of NDIS Participants. Over time we have been able to negotiate the journey of service providers, plan managers, and coordination.
We realised that the biggest part of goal success was missing from most providers – HEART. We are a family drawn together through our own lived experiences of disabilities, parenthood, and NDIS.

Frequently Asked Questions
Support Coordination is an NDIS funded service that’s designed to help NDIS participants (and, if required, their family or representatives) to coordinate the support services in their NDIS Plan.
An independent Support Coordinator is able to find the exact service to meet your individual needs and goals. We are not bound by any particular services we must use. So our focus is YOU. If something’s not working, we change it. Need to think outside the box to find the right service? We are flexAble in our thinking and our approach to ensure you’re receiving exactly what you require at any given time.
A Support Coordinator’s role is to help NDIS participants to understand their NDIS Plan, identify their needs and goals, monitor their progress and connect with the people and support that will enable them to live with choice and control.
A Plan Manager is responsible for the financial/administrative side of a participant’s NDIS Plan. For example, the Plan Manager is responsible for organising payments, processing claims and invoices and tracking budgets. If you require plan management services, your support coordinator can help you to arrange this.
NDIS participants who are eligible will have Support Coordination listed under ‘Capacity Building’ in their NDIS Plan. Eligibility for Support Coordination is determined during an NDIS Plan Review meeting.
No. Support Coordination is included in a participant’s NDIS Plan in addition to other supports.
Yes. These are two different services and it’s possible to have both included in your plan.
